Having a passion for writing has led to a variety of opportunities for this Cambridge, Ontario native. She has a diploma in Journalism which was put to good use working for a daily newspaper writing and taking pictures for everything from business profiles, local news and sports articles.

More recently, Corina has had an opportunity to work with several local businesses and groups needing written content for both print and online formats. Through her “day jobs” she has provided technical writing for a variety of employee training manuals and has written and formatted resumes and cover letters for clients just starting out in the work world or making career changes.

FAMILY HISTORY

In recent years, Corina has become passionate about genealogy and researching her family tree. As of September 2013 she is able to trace certain branches back to the 1600s and has over 2100 names included. Check back on the History of Me often for interesting updates on Corina’s Genealogy.

TRAVELLING

Thanks to her parents, Corina realized going on adventures does not mean you need to go far from home. In the Travels section of the site, Corina chronicles her travels both near and far with an emphasis on attractions and locations in Southwestern Ontario.

PHOTOGRAPHY

Corina’s love of making people smile has led to success as a portrait photographer. Through her creativity, and dedication she was recognized as the top performing Portrait Studio Manager in the Southwestern Ontario District in 2000, and the top performing manager in Canada for 2002. She was proud to see her photographs gracing the walls of homes across the province. Follow the photography section to see what she has been working on.
